I think I have the same problem as you! I practice yoga in a gym class 4 days a week, and at home on most days. Can I recommend seeing an osteopath rather than a doctor? They specialise in bone, muscle and tendon problems and can not only fix the pain through massage, but also give you special stretches to prevent it again, without the need for medication. My problem is caused by tension in the left shoulder and arm pit which in turn tenses the muscles down the forearm and makes it hurt like there is no tissue in between the bones in the wrist, especially when you put weight on it (even more if you then lean forward!). Sometimes light yoga can actually help fix this pain - no upward dog or chaturanga or lifts like tolasana, but short periods of downward dog and anything that lifts up the arm and hand muscles (prasarita paddotanasana, especially with the forefingers wrapped around the big toes, or pashimotanasana, where you stand on the palms of your hands and lift up) are really good.

I have gone Lulu! I visited the new Atlanta showroom and it was a blast. I purchased a bamboo hoodie - pink, and it is very flattering and the quality of the material is high grade. I also purchased a black hoodie jacket. (can't remember the style name - but it is wonderful.) I love the zipper jacket and emergency pony tail holder. The customer service was exceptional - especially would like to thank Leslie who met us for a private appointment - and to the other girls who graciously helped us as well. An excellent company - proud to be a stockholder!

Thanks for the feedback Oliva. I am glad to say I no longer have the wrist problem after a break from yoga this summer and am back to regular practice now. Hope you're doing better as well!
